Santa Cruz Wharf Events
Woodies on the Wharf- This is an event that features over 200 classic wood-adorned cars made before 1952, it’s the biggest woodie event in Northern California. Admission is free and there is also a free bike valet. There are some woodie goodies and music that makes it more fun.
Wharf to Wharf- This is a Wharf to Wharf race that begins at the Santa Cruz Wharf and finishes at the Capitola Wharf. It takes place annually, each fourth Sunday in July and attracts runners from all over America and beyond. It’s a six mile race that allows for up to 16,000 runners and you sign up on a first come first served basis.
Tips
Parking at Santa Cruz Wharf is free for the first 2 hours for visitors. For their events, you may need to book early and arrive early for maximum thrill.
